Safety Guidelines
For Families:
- Interview nannies thoroughly before first booking
- Verify certifications and check expiry dates
- Read reviews from other families
- Start with short trial bookings
- Provide detailed emergency information
- Check in during longer bookings
- Trust your instincts
- Never share payment information outside the platform
For Nannies:
- Meet families before accepting bookings when possible
- Clarify all expectations upfront
- Report any safety hazards in homes
- Keep certifications current
- Document injuries or incidents immediately
- Never accept payment outside the platform
- Trust your instincts - decline bookings if uncomfortable
Reporting Safety Concerns
If you experience or witness concerning behavior, report it immediately:

- Unsafe childcare practices
- Suspicious or inappropriate behavior
- Safety hazards in homes
- Harassment or discrimination
- Payment fraud or scams
- Violation of platform terms
- Any situation where a child may be at risk

For immediate danger, always call 911 first, then report to us.
Our Investigation Process
When we receive a safety report:
- Immediate Review: Report reviewed within 1 hour
- Account Suspension: User(s) may be immediately suspended pending investigation
- Thorough Investigation: We gather facts from all parties
- Action Taken: Based on findings (warning, suspension, permanent ban)
- Follow-up: Reporter is updated on outcome (maintaining privacy)
All reports are taken seriously and handled with discretion.
Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination:
- ❌ Providing false information or fake credentials
- ❌ Operating under someone else's identity
- ❌ Working "off-platform" to avoid fees
- ❌ Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
- ❌ Inappropriate behavior with children
- ❌ Payment fraud or scams
- ❌ Sharing personal contact information before booking
- ❌ Using platform for non-childcare services
